Full-time, Live-in Nanny in Rural Belgium 

Position: Nanny (with newborn experience)

Details of the assignment: 

A fantastic family, who are also repeat clients, just welcomed their 3rd baby and are actively seeking an experienced and nurturing French, English, Dutch or Spanish-speaking nanny with newborn experience. The role is for a minimum of 6 months, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent full-time position. The nanny will work 5-6 days a week, covering approximately 8 hours per day.

The family is seeking a nanny who can support Mum and be an extra pair of hands in looking after the kids ( G 7 and G 5) and the newborn baby. The older kids attend school full-time so that looking after them mainly concerns after-school or holidays. Essentially, the nanny will work as a team with Mum, assisting whenever and wherever necessary. Therefore, the ideal candidate is someone comfortable working alongside a parent and who understands when to step in to help and when to step out to give the family space and allow them to bond. Additionally, the family is looking for someone who can help with cooking and is open to preparing meals for the entire family. Besides, the family is looking for a candidate who can drive to do shopping. 

The family enjoys a peaceful rural lifestyle, with fewer people around and abundant nature, including farm animals, especially horses. They require a nanny who is comfortable with the quiet countryside lifestyle and has worked in a similar family setting. The children are passionate about horse riding and outdoor adventures, so the right candidate for this position is someone enthusiastic about rural living, leads an active lifestyle, and is eager to plan outdoor activities for the kids.

The ideal candidate for this role is calm and has a warm and peaceful presence. The nanny must understand that she is there to provide childcare assistance, support Mum, and alleviate her workload for a positive recovery. The candidate should have relevant experience working with similar age groups and be confident and capable of handling tiny babies. The ideal nanny is nurturing, passionate about childcare and supporting mothers, gentle, resourceful, and kind. The nanny must be able to work without supervision, think ahead and quickly on their feet, and make decisive decisions when necessary. Requirements: 

Previous experience as a nanny (with newborns)
