Full-time, Permanent, Live-in Nanny – Istanbul, Turkey

Location: Istanbul, Turkey
Start Date: As soon as possible
Working Hours: 6 days per week (approximately 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, subject to change based on the baby’s routine)
Contract Length: Long-term (3+ years preferred)
Salary: 1200-1500 GBP per week 

A busy and local family based in Istanbul is looking for a dedicated and experienced nanny to care for their 5-month-old daughter. The family leads an active and healthy lifestyle and favours a candidate who shares the same values. The nanny should seamlessly integrate into their daily life, providing full care for the baby throughout her routine while ensuring a nurturing and stimulating environment. The role will be shared care alongside a hands-on mother, and the ideal candidate should be proactive, reliable, and adaptable to support the family's needs with flexibility and professionalism.

The ideal candidate should have a deep passion for working with children and genuinely enjoy nurturing and engaging with little ones. They would like the nanny to follow the mother's guidance, as she will be present most times. A long-term commitment of at least three years is highly preferred. The nanny must also have significant infant care experience. First aid training is essential, and if not already certified, the nanny must complete it before starting the role. 

Responsibilities include engaging the baby in age-appropriate activities that support her development, managing all nursery duties such as keeping the baby's room tidy and organised, handling baby-related laundry, and maintaining her belongings. The nanny will also notify the family when baby-related supplies need replenishing, assist with sleep routines and daily care needs, and clean her own private living space (bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen area). Additionally, the nanny will be responsible for preparing simple, nutritious meals for the baby as she transitions to solids, maintaining a hygienic environment for all baby-related activities, and ensuring her developmental milestones are encouraged through interactive play and sensory activities.

Requirements:

• UK, USA, or EU passport.

• Fluent in English (native or fully fluent speaker).

• Infant care experience is essential.

• First aid training is required (can be completed before starting the role if not already certified).

• Ability to commit to a long-term position (minimum 3 years preferred).

• Must be comfortable following the mother’s guidance, as she will be actively involved in the baby’s care.
