Job Title: Baby and Toddler Room Educator

Salary: 36,000 EUR net per year

Overview:

                We seek experienced and passionate Baby and toddler Room Educators with expertise in caring for babies and toddlers to join a dynamic early years team in Monaco. The ideal candidates are vocational childcare professionals with excellent knowledge of child development, particularly in the infant and toddler age range, and a proven ability to organise and lead age-specific sessions for kids aged 6-20 months, who will attend with their primary carers.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the daily operations of the baby and toddler room, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.

• Oversee the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities that support the development of babies and toddlers, focusing on early learning goals and milestones.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, providing reassurance, tips and regular updates on their child’s progress and development.

• Ensure that all practices comply with health and safety regulations and safeguarding procedures.

• Monitor and assess the progress of children in the room, identifying any areas of concern and implementing individual care plans where necessary.

• Work closely with management to ensure the smooth running of the room and contribute to the overall success of the club.

Requirements:

• English native ( mother tongue) 

• A relevant qualification in Early Years Education (Level 3 or higher).

• Proven experience working with babies and toddlers

• Excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and child development for the 0-3 age group.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 1 year in a baby room

• Ability to work and support a team.

• A passion for creating a positive and stimulating learning environment for babies and toddlers.

• Exceptional communication skills and building rapport with children, parents, and staff.

• A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care and safeguarding.
