                 An international family based in Santo Domingo is in search for a nurturing, Mandarin-speaking nanny to join their household and care for their 6-month-old son. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in childcare, particularly with infants of similar age, and a genuine passion for supporting a child’s growth and development.

                The parents are looking for a nanny who can provide exceptional care, ensuring that all of their son's daily needs are met. The role will involve working alongside another nanny to share responsibilities for the baby, so strong teamwork and communication skills are essential. While not a strict requirement, candidates with a teaching background or qualifications will be highly valued, as the family is keen for their son to develop his Mandarin language skills as he grows. Additionally, a nanny who is well-versed in Chinese childcare methodologies and able to incorporate these into their caregiving approach will be greatly appreciated. The ability to implement a structured daily routine for the baby, while remaining flexible when needed, is also essential. The family values a baby-led and gentle approach, and would like to find a nanny who shares these values.

                 As the nanny will be working closely with a Russian-speaking nanny, it is important that the candidate speaks English for effective communication. The two nannies will be expected to coordinate their schedules and work together seamlessly, so being a team player is crucial. The Mandarin-speaking nanny will work on a rotating schedule, alternating between a 5-day week of 12-hour shifts, followed by a week of morning shifts, and then a week of night shifts. Flexibility is key in this role, as the family requires someone who can adapt to this varied schedule.

               Both parents lead busy professional lives but prioritise spending as much time as possible with their son when not working.
