Details of the assignment:

            A busy family residing in Bucharest is urgently seeking a qualified and experienced English-speaking nanny to join their household and support Mum and Dad with childcare. Mum is expecting their second child and will soon give birth; however, a maternity nurse will be assisting at night with the newborn until December, and Mum will be hands-on. Initially, the nanny will focus on caring for their almost 3-year-old daughter. Once the maternity nurse’s contract ends and the mum returns to work, the nanny will take on responsibilities for both children. During the day, the older child will be attending school. The nanny will work Tuesday to Saturday, from 7 AM to 7 PM or 10-12 hrs per day, with breaks in between; but with flexibility depending on the child and family's needs. The schedule will sometimes change depending on the family's needs. The family will provide the nanny with a private bedroom, bathroom, and a small kitchenette to ensure personal privacy.

          Both Mum and Dad are busy professionals and sometimes have hectic schedules. They are seeking a trustworthy and responsible nanny to handle all childcare-related tasks. This includes getting the children ready for the day, preparing their meals and snacks, ensuring the older child's schoolbag is packed with everything she needs, organising their bedrooms and wardrobes, tidying up their play areas, and managing their laundry. While not mandatory, candidates with childcare qualifications will be given priority. The nanny is expected to create a safe and nurturing environment conducive to the children’s growth and development and support their holistic development through engaging and age-appropriate activities. A background in child psychology is highly valued.

         The family is looking for a nanny experienced in creating and maintaining a consistent daily routine for the children. They are firm believers in providing the children independence and healthy boundaries from a place of compassion. Therefore, they seek a nanny who practices a similar approach to childcare. Requirements:

• Previous experience as a full-time, live-in nanny (3-year minimum)
• Previous experience with babies (3-year minimum)
• First aid certification
