TEMPORARY, FULL-TIME, LIVE-OUT ENGLISH -SPEAKING NANNY IN LONDON (5 MONTHS)

Details of the assignment:

             A lovely family of 3 in London will welcome their baby in mid-September. The family now seeks an English-speaking nanny ( native level) to help them look after the kids (G2.5 and newborn). The final working schedule has not yet been finalised and will be discussed during the interview, but the nanny will work during the day, covering full-time hours Monday to Friday. As the role is a live-out position, the nanny must already be in London or nearby and can commute daily.

           Dad works full time, working long hours and occasionally travelling for work. Hence, they are looking for an extra pair of hands to assist and support Mum in looking after the children and working as a team with her. The older child will start nursery in September on a full-time basis. The primary role of the nanny is to help mum and combine looking after the newborn when mum is with the older girl and vice versa, allowing Mum to spend time and bond with the baby or dedicate one-to-one attention to the older girl when she is home. Hence, the nanny must have experience with newborns and toddlers. 

      The ideal candidate for this role is someone who loves the outdoors, is active and calm, with experience in a similar role and is able to understand when to step in and offer assistance and when to step out to give the family space.

           Mum plans to breastfeed, so a nanny who has worked with breastfeeding mums before is highly valued. Although not mandatory, the family will prefer someone with maternity and/or childcare qualifications. The ideal nanny can be a good role model for the kids, able to create and maintain a consistent everyday routine but also flexible when necessary. The nanny they would like is someone who can instil good behaviours, values, and healthy boundaries.

          The ideal nanny is nurturing, passionate about childcare, and with initiative. The perfect candidate is calm, resourceful, and kind. The nanny must be able to work without supervision, think ahead and quickly on their feet, and make decisive decisions when necessary. This role is for a career and experienced nanny looking for a short-term work commitment with a loving family.
